Amy Smart was an American model as well as actress. Amy Smart was brought up in California, America. She began the modeling profession in Italy. She made her acting debut at the age of 16 in the TV movie Her Costly Affair. After a very difficult struggle, she landed a role as "Starship Troopers" starring in Starship Troopers. It was difficult for her to transition from modelling to acting as the models werent usually thought of as actors and tended to be granted smaller, insignificant roles. But somehow Amy did not give up and began to take on larger roles, beginning with the TV series The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. In 2005, she took as the lead in the romantic comedy Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds. Amy got her first recognition for her efforts throughout the previous 10 years. She continued to do important films like Crank opposite Jason Statham or Shameless in which she was loved as a regular character.
