Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been a director, actress as well as a producer, playwright, and teacher in St. Thomas University. Anna Silk is the daughter of a Briton and the son of a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. At the beginning of her career Anna appeared in a number of commercials on television.
