Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson is an American former actor. Elson started her career as an actor as a young child and as model. She is best known as Alice Tyler in the CBS Science-fiction television series. Andrea got the part of Lynn Tanner, in ALF (1986) after she auditioned. The actress was on numerous popular TV shows and also Movies of the Weekly for many more years before she left the industry to spend time with her family. Andrea Elson's character, Lynn Tanner, Willie and Kate Tanner's teenage daughter, was a difficult one for her. In a 2000 retrospective in People Elson said developing as an actress in the midst of the sitcom-viewing audience was a challenge. Born on March 6, 1969 in New York City, this green-eyed actress grew up traveling due to her father's work as an advertising executive. At 10 years old, Andrea had already been to New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea was able to win her first audition San Diego after she got an agent. Fusco supported the show's premise, saying that "ALF is at 285 years old and is able to drink beer because he's old enough. ALF was getting more well-known among kids thus NBC informed Fusco that he shouldn't drink because kids were watching. Fusco is a bad image model. Fusco maintained that he believed ALF was an adult and that he could manage the drinking. The first time he was diagnosed with lymphoma was in 1995. The treatment was successful and was completely cured until the year 2019. In June of 2019, aged 75, he succumbed to his illness in the Lillian Booth Actors Home located in Englewood, New Jersey.
