Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and grew up in the state. She was a television host of the talk show on daytime The Talk. She was raised by Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl has a turbulent family. She spent the majority of her young life caring for her sister Frankie who suffered from polio. When she was a kid, her relationship with mother was rocky. Sheryl asserts that, at one point, her mother knifed her father after he got too intimate with her. Sheryl was a soldier after she graduated from university. Her passion for the military was comedy. She was the first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. Her TV career after becoming regularly performing at the HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. She also appeared in 2000 as host of the T.V. program Oh Drama! Presently, she is a co-host on the talk talk show from 2011. She has also been an unnamed character on programs like Bulworth Nicki and Beauty Shop.
