Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay Brodie was born in Ogden Utah on September 15 1915. Fawn McKay, born into the Mormon Church's First Family, employed her creative talents and skills in researching to produce the fascinating psycho-historical biographical biography of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945 under the title No Man knows My History, she used both. The title was inspired by the sermon title given by Joseph Smith in 1844. In the sermon, he stunned his listeners by stating: "You are not my friend and you've never listened to my thoughts. My story is not known to anyone. I don't know. Fawn, a 29-year-old woman said: "Since that moment of truthfulness, three or more writers have taken on the challenge." Many have abused him while others have glorified him. some have even experimented with diagnosing him. The problem isn't that documents are lacking it is rather that they're wildly contradictory. The process of assembling these documents, by sifting through third-party and first-hand sources, fitting the Mormons' stories to those of those of non-Mormons into a true historical context - can be a challenge. It's both thrilling, as well as instructive. FawnBrodie devoted herself to the profession. Thaddeus Stevens. Stevens was immortalized by her work and the fruits of her studies. The Devil's Drive (1959) The Slaughter of the South. Thomas Jefferson. A Personal History of Richard Nixon (1974) as and the posthumously Richard Nixon.
